How we choose GAA pubs

Three criteria, all of them practical:

  1. Big screen, multiple angles. A 32-inch behind the bar doesn't cut it for a Connacht final.
  2. Food served past final whistle. If the kitchen shuts at 21:30, a 19:30 throw-in dies in your stomach by extra-time.
  3. The crowd shows up for the team. A neutral pub on the day is grand. A pub where Galway-jersey punters cluster is the proper sesh.

The big-fixture calendar

We pre-spot the major fixtures and pre-publish which pubs we know are showing each — All-Ireland Hurling and Football Finals, Munster Hurling Final, Connacht Final, Six Nations weekends, Champions League finals. Tell us your local's lining up a screening →
